Brekkie at Red Star

***2nd January 13***

Right after fetching Darian from school, we headed to Red Star restaurant to satisfy my dimsum craving! 🙂 Red star on a weekend is really packed. So it is the most ideal to go on a weekday. No crowd, no queue and prompt service. Best! The Dimsum are all served on push carts. There will be ladies pushing the carts around serving the dimsum. So can you imagine on crowded days when you are seated at a far end, most probably by the time the carts reach you, most of the dimsum would already be taken. We think that the food standard here is above average but definitely not the best. Dim sum at the Asia Grand restaurant is better. Yet with the total old school style, back to the 70’s set up makes me feel like revisiting Red Star again. Guess ambience does play a part. Every time when I think of dim sum, I will think of Red Star. It’s just that nostalgic feeling! 🙂
